Stark Park

Yesterday, Grampa Don and Gramma Paula took me to Stark Park. I played in the grass with Sally, ate yogurt, and saw a statue of a man on a big horse. I kept them busy with all my walking and cruising!

Nantucket

Mommy, Daddy and I just spent a long weekend in Nantucket visiting Daddy's best friend TJ. I had so much fun. We started off by taking a boat ride to the island. There were lots of people on the boat to play with and one guy even gave me a doughnut. You can see what happens when you try to walk on a boat--just look at my nose! We spent a lot of time at the beach. I love to play in the waves and in the sand with all the dried seaweed. I love to walk around looking at the seagulls and sand pipers. We also took two of TJs dogs for a walk in the moors but I fell asleep and missed most of it! We had lots of good food and even made s'mores! I was sad we had to come back home but we'll be back at the beach this weekend!

SNAKE!!!!

I was at Grampa Don and Gramma Paula's today and we saw a big snake in the yard. It was very scary. I had a good time playing with Bailey the cat though! I just love kitties.

I scream, you scream....

We all scream for ice cream! Grampa Don and Gramma Paula came to see me walk and they took me out for ice cream. Yummy!

Baby Bobcats on the Prowl!

I met another baby bobcat today....my new friend Brody. He is 10 months old and a super fast crawler! My Mommy and Daddy went to college with Brody's Mommy and Daddy! We had fun knocking over towers of blocks and playing with my music table. We both loved to eat yogurt for lunch! I can't wait to play with Brody again! By the time Mommy took our pictures though we were both ready for naps (hence the cracky face on my part)!

I went on my first carosel ride with my Grampie Jack today. I was scared but I soon warmed up to the ride!

FIRST STEPS

Yesterday I decided to let go and see what happens! I can walk! I started off with a few steps and today I walked across the kitchen a few times. I especially like walking back and forth between Mom and Dad. Check it out!

WHEEEEE!

Today I went to the playground and met up with Mitchell and his Mommy and Daddy. I got to go on two different slides and on the swings. I love to swing up really high. I also love to eat woodchips. I got really mad when Mommy took them out of my mouth.

What the Princess wants, the Princess gets

I sometimes get a bit bossy. One of my favorite toys is a little tent that plays music. I love to dance to the music but I get mad when it shuts off. I command who ever is close to turn it on again. I know how to do it myself but it is more fun to point and stomp. That's what princesses do anyways, right?

One ringy dingy, two ringy dingy....

I love playing with the telephone. The buttons all make funny noises and there are lots of lights. I especially like to call Daddy when he is at work.

Home, home on the range...

After our fun trip to the mall today (Mommy said I needed to start working on my fall wardrobe), we stopped by a local farm to get me a blueberry muffin for a snack. They had buffalo and llamas there. Even though I barked at them through the fence, they didn't come over to see me. Mommy said that only doggies bark and that buffalo and llamas make other noises. I'm not so sure she is right. I'll wait until I hear otherwise from Buffy and her friends.

Trouble with a capital T

I sometimes like to play nicely next to the tub while Mommy is in the shower. Sometimes I just like to sit there and cry until she comes out. I figured out a better solution...if she won't come out, I will go to her! Today, I decided to try climbing in while she was showering! She was so surprised and I ended up very wet!

Bed Head

Camp and swimming makes me so tired! On weekends I need to sleep in and take lots of long naps. Look at the 'do I was sporting this morning.

Swimming, swimming in a swimming hole...

It has been so hot here lately. I have needed to go swimming a lot. On Sunday, I got to swim with my Daddy and at camp on Thursday, I got to go swimming with my Grammie Kelsa and Mommy. Today, Grampie Don took me to Uncle Dee's to go swimming with my cousin Sophia. I just love to swim.

Good Job Mommy!

Yesterday my mommy ran her first road race. It was 10 miles long! She said is was sooo hot out that she had to run slow. She finished and she didn't even come in last! Auntie Em ran it with her. It was so hot that Auntie Em got sick afterwards. Here are some before, during, and after pictures that Mommy showed me since I couldn't come because it was after my bedtime. My favorite babysitter Christina came over to play with me and put me to bed. We had a lot of fun (until I bit her finger).
