Ponytails!

Today was a very big day. After months and months of giving Mama a hard time when she wanted to do anything more than brush my hair--for example putting in a barrette--I actually asked for a ponytail! Mama gave me two! I was so excited!

A Different Sort of Beach Day

After a great brunch at Mad Martha's (where I ate almost a whole chocolate chip Mickey Mouse pancake that was bigger than me), Mitchell and I went to the beach to play. It is slightly colder than the beach in Florida. Mommy wouldn't let me take off my clothes...though I tried!

A Big Help

Grammie Kelsa and Grampa Jack came over to help Mama and Dada hang up all the pictures and art work that they finally finished unpacking. I was a big help with my tool kit.

Bye Bye Florida

It was sad saying "Goodbye" to Grampa and Grammie. I am going to miss them. We had such a fun trip and can't wait to go back next year!

The airport was really fun. Daddy and I rode up and down the escalator many, many times screaming "Weeeee" the whole time!

One Last Beach Trip

We are sad to be leaving Florida but snuck in one last trip to the beach. On the way to the beach we saw 2 Bald Eagles and heard the sonic boom from the space shuttle. At the beach I played in the sand and water and fed the seagulls. I saw a Gopher Tortoise and an Ibis at the beach and brought home my own red Starfish!

Last full day...

Today is my last full day in Florida. Despite the rainy start, I still went in the pool with Grampa! Then Grammie Paula, my kitty Bailey, and I had a dance party. Check out my moves!

More Cobbs!

After the beach and a bad afternoon nap, Mommy and Daddy and I went to visit Uncle Calvin and Aunt Olive. Uncle Calvin is my late Grampa Red's brother. He and his wife Olive live here in Naples. I met them last year but I slept through most of the encounter! I had a great time visiting with them and having a yummy fruit- and lollipop-filled dinner!

Barefoot Beach

Today, Grampa Don, Daddy, Mommy and I went to Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs. We were the first ones there but it got crowded quickly. I had a lot of fun playing in the "pool" and sorting sand and shells.

Bubbles

Mommy, Grammie Paula, and I went to Target today and got bubbles. I love playing with, chasing, kissing, and trying to eat the bubbles!

Dog Beach

We took Sally to Dog Beach today so that she could play in the ocean, catch balls, and chase other doggies around. I had fun playing in the sand and splashing in the water. Mommy also gave me a lollipop as a treat. Daddy had fun fishing but didn't catch anything.

Around and Around

All day long I like to open one door to the patio, close it, and then walk in the other doors from the patio. Over and over again. It never gets old. I was doing the routine this morning before I even sat down to eat breakfast! Notice in the pictures how dark it is...it was 7:15 am.

It takes a long time for the sun to come up here in Florida!

Tigertail Beach

Mommy, Daddy, and I met Cashman, Wynter and their Mommy and Grammie at the beach today. We had a fun time sharing our toys, playing in and eating the sand, and eating our Spongebob Squarepants Cheezits.

Ouch!

Naples Zoo

Today we all got in the car and took a field trip to the Zoo! I got to see lions, tigers, kangaroos, lots of birds, and a few types of monkeys. I loved looking at the animals and practicing my animal noises. Did you know a lion says roar?

More Fun in the Sun

Today was another great day in Florida. We went out to breakfast, then to Super Target where we got more toys for the pool and beach. When we got home I went in the pool, ate lunch, napped, had a snack, went in the pool, had another snack, went in the pool again, then had a great dinner with some ice cream. Not too bad for a Sunday!

Daddy is here!

I woke up this morning and Daddy had arrived! I was so excited to see him. Apparently his flight was delayed 4 hours and he didn't get in until 2 am! The first thing that we did was.....go in the pool! I also got my first taste of peanut butter today. It was so yummy!

Pool! Pool!

I love to swim! I am having a great time in Florida and have spent at least 2 hours a day in the pool. The minute I wake up I start saying Pool! Pool! and pointing and crying at the door until someone puts on my bathing suit and takes me in. So far I like to float on my back, practice kicking, and put my face in the water. Yesterday I got so daring that I put my whole head in by myself!
