Snow, Snow, look at the Snow!

I woke up this morning to a fresh layer of snow! At Grampa and Grammies, we made a snowman and went sledding in the yard. I had so much fun in the snow!

Changing of the Guard

With Grampa Don and Grammie Paula off to Florida, Grampa Jack and Grammie Kelsa have taken over babysitting duties while Mommy and Daddy work. I spent the first day riding my firetruck around and playing piano. Apparently, Oliver (my future husband as arranged by our parents) has the same firetruck! We already have matching his and her cars!

Merry Christmas!

Santa came and left so many fun presents! I had a fun time opening them and can't wait to start playing with them. After we opened at home, Grampie Don and Grammie Paula came to open presents. Then I went to Grampa Jack and Grammie Kelsa's house. We opened presents and ate lots of good food all day! I love Christmas!

Cookie Monster!

Mommy, Daddy, and I have had the perfect winter weekend. We all went holiday shopping although we definitely steered clear of Santa. We bought lots of Christmas present for everyone (including me!). After a long time in the car and stroller, I fussed enough that I got a yummy oatmeal raisin cookie. Then we got to go out for pizza on the way home! Today we slept in until 8 am and when we woke up there was lots more snow. Now we have tons of it to play with, but unfortunately freezing rain came after the snow and made it too yucky to play. So Mommy and I occupied ourselves indoors while Daddy had to shovel lots of heavy snow. Mommy and I did lots of puzzles, made some playdough (even though I wouldn't play with it...it feels yucky), and then we made COOKIES! I love chocolate chip cookies!

My New Room

I love my new room!!!!! Mommy has almost finished it and it looks beautiful. So far it has been painted a pretty color blue and I got new sheets, a dresser, and a big bookcase. Mommy says it still needs a few more things on the walls and some curtains/shades but it is mostly finished. She is just excited to have one room mostly done. To top the room off, Grammie Kelsa and Grampa Jack dropped off a few new prints for the wall AND the little Christmas Tree they decorated for me. I love having my very own tree.

The NEW Evil Knievel

I found a fun new "game" to play today. I stand up on my red car, move it back and forth like a skate board, and give Mommy a heart attack. Mommy took my car away until I promise to play safely. Boo hoo and bah humbug to her!

People Watching

One of my new favorite places to be in our new home is sitting on the arm of the couch looking out the window at all the cars and people passing by. It's even better with a chocolate chip cookie.

Trimming the Tree

This morning we decorated our Christmas Tree. We got to wear our PJs and listen to Christmas music. I helped by putting ornaments on the lower branches while Mommy and Daddy decorated the branches higher up. The doggies didn't help at all! Charlie just slept on the couch and Gwen was hiding in her crate. The tree, mantel, and windows looked so pretty when we were done!

Tree Hunting

Today Mommy, Grammie Kelsa, Grampa Jack, and I went on the hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree. Grampa pulled me in my sled while Mommy made us walk all over the Tree Farm, up and down lots of hills. I loved being pulled really fast in the sled. It was so cold I even kept my hat AND mittens on without complaining! Afterwards, we had chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate. Yum! Bye bye Beau

After 5 months of living with us, Beau is going back home to Gramma Dianne. I love Beau so much and will miss her lots.

First Sleepover!

This week if full of firsts and today I had another...my first sleepover! We got lots of snow and Mommy and Daddy thought it would be safer if I stay at Grampa Don's and Grammie Paula's so that I don't need to drive in the icy snow. I got to stay for 2 whole nights. I had a great time playing in front of their Christmas tree and splashing in their big tub.

Dog

This is me and Dada hanging out in our PJs. I am holding my best friend Dog who I sleep with every night. But now I love Dog so much, I bring him everywhere I go.

First Haircut!

I got my first haircut today. I was very well behaved and didn't even cry. I actually seemed to enjoy it! I got a lollipop at the end and a special certificate commending my bravery. Mommy is calling this my "Suri Cruise" haircut. Mommy had asked for a bob but the woman took it under her own power to add layers....my first experience with a rogue hairdresser!

Eirinn go Brach!

Mommy, Daddy, and I just got back from a week in Ireland. We went to Dublin to visit Uncle TJ, Aunt Kate and their kitty, Lola. We had a great time visiting with them and seeing all the sights. We did fun things like going to the Gravity Bar on top of the Guinness Brewery (photo 1), although Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me try a sip of Guinness--party poopers! We went for a walk from Bray to Greystone along the cliffs of the Irish Sea (photo 2 is of the cliffs we had already walked). We also rented a car and visited Wicklow, a more pastoral and mountainous region with lots and lots of sheep (photos 3-5). I loved the sheep and practiced my baaaa-ing a lot! I was sad to leave but can't wait to get more stamps in my passport!
