Old Fashioned Sunday

Yankee Homecoming is here again! We went over to Old Fashion Sunday and the kids enjoyed pony rides, a Thomas the Train Engine ride, and Georgia got her face painted! They had a great time and can't wait to enjoy the other festivities this week.

Emotions

The girls love to have me take pictures of them making faces. I hope when they are famous actresses someday they will buy me a nice house.

Anderson

So he doesn't feel like a third child with limited photographs, here are a bunch of baby boy shots...

Camping Out

The girls and Miles slept out on our 3rd floor balcony under the stars....well, Miles and Georgia did! Penelope lasted about 10 minutes before coming in, so we had our own sleepover on a nice comfy bed!

Georgia Swimming!!!!

Georgia did swim lessons this winter but didn't make much progress. She was very nervous, wouldn't jump in, and never much left the stairs. A month ago, Grammy Kelsa and I started pushing her (at the pool club and beach). Look how far she has come in the past month! The deep end was 10 ft and the pool is 40 feet long!!!!

Keeping Cool

It was soooooo hot out today. A friend of ours that lives close by let us use her pool to keep cool (versus battling the crowd at the pool club). We spent the morning lounging by the pool with Grammy Kelsa and returned with Grampa Jack after naps. We had such a great time!

Pool Day

We joined a pool club this summer and so far, with all the heat, it has been a perfect summer to do so! Auntie Em and Nolan joined us. We had so much fun and ended up spending 5 hours swimming...it made for super early bedtimes for very tired kids!

Big Girl!

After an almost jump, Penelope needed to be moved to a big girl bed (really just her crib with the toddler bed rail). So far, it is a success!!!!!

The Middle and the Little

The Middle loves to help feed the Little. Supervision required of course.

Georgia's Party

For Georgia's fifth birthday, we had her party at the MSCPA. Georgia loves animals and was so excited to spend her special day there with her friends. We had a great time playing animal games, meeting the adoptable animals, and eating cake!

Happy Birthday Georgia!

Georgia is 5! I can't believe how fast time has gone. I remember her being born like it was yesterday. Georgia at 5 is a smart, feisty girl. She is starting to read, learning to swim, and becoming more mature and independent by the day. She loves anything girly, doing crafts, watching movies, and swimming. She only wants to wear dresses and loves wearing her hair long. She loves her brother and sister more than anything and loves to show it with lots of hugs and kisses. She can be fresh one second but filled with love and hugs and sweetness the next. I can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring!

Big Boy Eats

Showing interest much earlier than the girls (aka ripping pizza out of my hand and trying to eat it and diving into a bowl of hummus and seemingly enjoying it), we started Big Boy on some real food. Not evident in this video, he can CHOW DOWN. He enjoys any and every food (although he shivers when he eats peaches but keeps on going) and in mass quantities, clearly showing that he is definitely Miles' son! And if you don't get it in fast enough he tries to grab the spoon and the food out of your hand.
