Academy Woods

Mommy and Daddy decided to make good use of the gift I gave Daddy for Father's Day--a baby backpack!. We went to Academy Woods at Phillips Exeter. We took a hike in the woods with the doggies. Charlie and Gwen got very tired from all the walking. I had a good time as long as I could see Mommy. Afterwards, we went to a big party at Meg Willards house. They have a pool and I couldn't resist going in! I just love to swim.

Puppy Love

Grampie Don and Grammie Paula are home. And they brought Sally, their puppy, with them. We are perfect playmates and have lots of fun cruising around the house and playing outside! She loves to give me kisses.

Manga!

The pasta at camp is my favorite. I couldn't get it into my mouth fast enough! I shoveled it in and it got all over my face and arms. To clean me off Mommy took me in the pool. We dunked under a few times and then she let me play in the play pool.

Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah.....

I love camp! I had my first day today and I had so much fun in the pool! Mommy bought me a car for the pool. It's horn honks and makes me giggle. I dunked under water 3 times today. I like to high five Mommy afterwards because I am so proud of myself. I can't wait to come to camp again on Wednesday!

I love the 80s

I got to wear my favorite new clothing item today...my Baby leg warmers! I would especially like to thank Jack, Oliver's friend in Philadelphia. Mommy peeks at his blog to make sure my future husband is hanging out with cool kids (and she also loves Jack's mothers links to her favorite sites to shop and read). She saw Jack had these cool Baby Legs on at the Philly bike race (which Mommy also said she and Daddy loved to go to when they lived in Philly). After Mommy saw how cool they were, she had to have some. I got all mine in pink and brown (Mommy's favorite color combo)--some have strips, some polka dots, and one pair is even in Argyle! My Mommy says my future father-in-law, Mike, LOVES Argyle!

The Sarahs

Sarah E and Sarah G came to visit me today. We went to Plum Island Refuge Beach. I discovered that I love sand. Especially eating the sand. Mommy and Daddy thought I would learn that it was yucky after tasting it the first time, but I tried 4 more times to get fists full of sand into my mouth. Yummy! You can see the grains of sand around my mouth in these pictures.

Working Girl

I helped Mommy at work (her camp job) today by helping her type. I can type really fast. You should see my fingers fly across the keyboard.

Splish Splash

I got to go swimming today. Swimming is one of my favorite things to do. I went up to Grammie Kelsa and Grampa Jack's and go in the play pool with my friend Jessica. I don't like the fountains but I love the bubbling water spouts! I try to find where the water goes when it disappears and it always squirts me in the face but I don't mind! I can't wait to go again tomorrow! (Check out the first pictures---you can see my new top two teeth!!!)

Another new friend!

Today Mommy and Daddy's friend Kirstin came by to visit us! I was very excited to meet my new friend. We went out to lunch but I got very tired and had to take a nap at the restaurant. It was very nice to meet Kirstin and I hope she comes to visit again soon!

WHHHHHEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I went to the park today and tried the swing out for the first time. I LOVED IT! I especially love being pushed hard and I giggle hysterically when I come rushing towards Mommy and she leans in to kiss me! I met a lot of new friends at the park. Two big girls wanted to be my friends. They were super old. One was 3 and the other was 4! They showed me the seahorses and how to go down the slide. Silly Mommy forgot her camera so we don't have any pictures of it! I'll put an old picture up instead so you don't forget what I look like.

High Fives for Meatballs!

Yummy Yummy. Mommy gave me turkey meatballs and watermelon for dinner tonight. I love meatballs so much that I gave my mommy a high five! After dinner we went to Hodgies for ice cream. Mommy let me try hers. She got Peppermint Stick Cookies and Cream. It was minty and made me make funny faces. Mommy and Daddy thought that I didn't like it but I kept begging for more. When we got home, I took a nice bath and then we read a few stories. We had to take a break from reading the stories so that I could hug my Big Bear!

Cruising

I have been very sick lately. I have a double ear infection that keeps getting worse (but I think I may be better now...3rd antibiotic in 7 days should be the charm) and Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease where I got little blisters all over the inside of my mouth. Because I have been so sick I haven't wanted to eat anything lately and I have been very tired and cranky. Plus, I like to have my binky in my mouth at all times.

Despite being sick, I can't stop showing off my new skill of cruising!!! Of course the first thing I did when I started cruising was go over to an electrical outlet and try to shove my finger in it. That made Mommy and Daddy put all these covers on them and put gates up. Now I just have to figure out how to get over the gate!
