One Month!

Penelope celebrated her first month yesterday! Today we had her 1 month check up with Dr. Bob. She is now 8 lb 12 oz and 21 in (up from 7 lb 9 oz and 19.5 in at birth). She started off bigger than Georgia by 8 oz but Georgia was 3 oz bigger at her 1 month exam...looks like we have another peanut on our hands!

Penelope has been spitting. A lot. As in 5-6 outfit changes a day and a few more at night. And lots of outfit changes for Mama. Lately, she has been really fussy when she spits. Nights are worse (6pm until 11pm) and consist of her screaming in pain and constantly eating/vomiting/fussing until she tires herself out. Dr. Bob sent us for a belly ultrasound to make sure Lil P doesn't have pyloric stenosis (like her Daddy, Uncle Campbell, and various 2nd cousins). Her ultrasound was perfect. Dr. Bob started her on Zantac so that she will be more comfortable. So far so good! Instead of the nightly eating/vomiting/fussing routine, she is sound asleep and happy! We will keep our fingers crossed this works.
