Head over Heels

I am so smitten with this girl. Maybe not so much with the black tipped, red haired Rooster Mohawk/Mullet.

Funny Gal

Two funny Georgia quotes for the day:

We were sitting the in the living room. Georgia looks at me and in a very serious tone asks, "Why do chickens sit on their eggs?" I responded that they sit on the eggs to keep the eggs warm, thinking this was going to be a serious conversation. Laughing, she replied "No, because they don't have any chairs".

Later on today we had this conversation, out of the blue, in the car.

Georgia: Hey Mom. I want to have Bubba for dinner.
Me: What is bubba?
Georgia: Ram Sam Sam's friend (Ram Sam Sam is Georgia's imaginary friend). We are going to cook her and eat her. And I want raviolis on the side.
Me: Are you sure you don't want a chianti and fava beans.

About 5 mintues later....
Georgia: I was just kidding about Bubba. We aren't going to eat her.
Me: Oh, good. I was scared.

Baby

Georgia has take up residence in Lil P's carseat when unoccupied. She thinks it is funny. Unfortunately, she still technically fits the weigh upper limit of 30 lbs!

New Obsessions

Georgia has two new obsessions.....
1. Puzzles. Especially this princess puzzle. We have done it about a billion gazillion times since purchasing it yesterday
2. Her new kicks. We are both loving the pink shiny Chucks!

Hand Me Ups

Georgia got some great hand-me-ups from her younger (but slightly bigger) cousin Mya. Georgia especially loves this new dress! Thanks Mya!

Poor P

Well, swine flu Sally was able to pass her germs on to someone else...our Poor Lil P! I hate sick babies and Lil P just broke my heart. We ended up taking her into see her doctor because she was having a hard time breathing, especially when she was coughing. Through the whole illness, she was such a trooper. She spent a whole day sleeping on my chest (literally, she was awake for less than 30 minutes during a 36 hour period), feeding, and doing her nebulizer treatments. She luckily recovered faster than Georgia and was quickly back in good spirits!

Happy Fake Thanksgiving

We headed up to Vermont again for Fake Thanksgiving (and a smattering of Real Halloween). We had a great time visiting with family. We trick or treated around the Inn in our costumes. Even the adults got dressed up and enjoyed the fun! We enjoyed lots of great food including the traditional Tur-Duck-Hen dinner! Georgia had a great time playing with Mya and her friends and can't wait to go back next year.
P loved Uncle David's beard.
Mya swinging happily on a beautiful, warm fall day!
Georgia practicing her rodeo moves.
The kids checking out the Halloween Pinata.
How many kids fit in the car? Made for one but fits four little blondies!
