Gwen

Today we said goodbye to our dear friend Gwen. Gwen was a retired racing greyhound. She spent the first 4 years of her life at a track in a small cage, only let out 1 hour per day. She then spent 2 years in a shelter waiting to get adopted. Yes, 2 years in another small cage. We adopted Gwen when she was 6 and she spent almost 6 wonderful years at our house. She was such a cuddly dog for having limited human interaction and companionship her first 6 years. Her favorite place was on the couch beside us or up on our bed between Miles and I. She was amazing with Georgia and they were best of friends. We will miss Gwen so much but know she is happy.
