First Taste of Summer

I love summer! Today Mommy showed me some of the fun things that I can do this summer. We woke up bright and early and took a run down by the river. I loved the new scenery and the wind. Then we went with Mitchell and his Mommy to the beach. We were the only ones there except this crazy man who was swimming way far out in the water. Mommy said he looked like shark bait. We went back to Mitchell's to take a nap. After we both woke up and got some lunch, we got in Mitchell's play pool and splashed around for awhile. We went to music class and then I had to take a nap I was so tired from all the excitement. I usually stay on my back and don't move when I sleep...but today was a different story! I got a few stuffed animals Mommy had in the top corner and cuddled with them all. I also decided to flip to my belly to sleep. When Daddy woke me up, I pulled myself up in my crib all by myself. The best part of my day was after dinner when Mommy decided to give me the first taste of a summer treat... a popsicle! She made them for me with yummy pomegranate juice. It was so cool and made my 3 new top teeth feel better! Between the beach, pools, and popsicles, this is going to be a great summer!

First comes L-O-V-E (or is it naked baths....)

Yesterday my future husband and my future in-laws came to visit. Yes, I am already promised to a Mr. Oliver Pingree Kolodner (see the Oliverpk blog link list on the left). He is very very handsome I might say...Mommy has made a good choice and I am glad that she and Alisson decided to resurrect arranged marriages!

I fell for Oliver at first sight. I tried to play all shy and coy but couldn't contain myself. We played with all my toys. He really liked my dinosaur toy! We took a nice walk and then we took a bath...TOGETHER! It was so much fun. We played in the water for a long time. I had to go to bed but when I woke up today he was still here! I shared a banana with him at breakfast and tried to give him my cup of water. We really hit it off! We have so much in common. We both like to sit, we both like my dinosaur, we both like booby juice, and we both LOVE our Mommies! What more could I want in a husband?
Oh...Daddy now says he needs to up his Prilosec dose to 80 mg and that I am going to give him an ulcer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMIE KELSA!

Today was my Grammie Kelsa's 29th birthday! Just kidding...she is 30 (or so she says!). Mommy and I had gone to pick her out a present on Wednesday. We got her a great hoodie that is the same material as my spotted dog blanket that I cuddle with every night! Today we took Grammie Kelsa out to lunch at the Black Cow for her birthday. I enjoyed throwing my cup off the table and making Mommy pick it up. I especially enjoyed my chicken ravioli and the french fries Mommy gave me. Happy Birthday Grammie!!! I love you.

Rub a Dub Dub

Daddy has been hogging the computer studying for his test, so I haven't been able to get on for awhile. Mommy and I have been having so much fun. Yesterday was great because it finally stopped raining. We got to take the doggies for a walk. Charlie and Gwen were so happy to finally go for a long walk again, but they were very tired when we got back home. Here are a few pictures from this weekend and yesterday.

Roar!

I love my new dinosaur toy that my friend Mitchell lent to me. The balls come shooting out of the dinosaurs mouth. It makes me giggle. Plus I love to roar back at the dinosaur!

Going to the Chapel....

I have so much to talk about. I have been a very, very busy baby. This weekend Mommy, Daddy and I went to New York City. Mommy and Daddy were going the wedding of Mommy's college roommate, Liz. They had a great time at the wedding and saw lots of old friends. While they were at the wedding my Auntie Em and her boyfriend Erich took care of me. Auntie Em lives in San Diego but she came home to see me. At the hotel, there was a great big bear in the lobby that I loved to try to kiss and hug. We had such a fun time. The only bad thing was the long car ride. I don't like being in my carseat that long but I occupied my time by feeding Mommy cheerios one by one and giggling hysterically.

Auntie Em, Auntie Em

Auntie Em is here visiting me! She and Mommy went for pedicures. They unfortunately did not let me get my toes done because Daddy would have been very mad. It is so good to see her. I miss her lots and can't wait until she gets home from San Diego.
